4 Steps of the Vampire FaceLift® Procedure
First, the injector (1) uses HA fillers to create a beautiful shape. (2) Then, the physician isolates growth factors from the patient's blood. (3) When these growth factors enter the face (injected by the physician), then multi-potent stem cells become activated to grow new tissue. This new tissue includes new collagen, new fatty tissue (for smoothness), and new blood vessels (for a healthy glow).
In the first part of the Vampire FaceLift® procedure, the physician uses a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler (like Restylane or Juvederm) in a very specific way to sculpt a younger appearing face--while still keeping the shape natural.
Providers of the Vampire Facelift (R) procedure take into account the mathematics of beauty as defined by much research (starting with the notebooks of Lonardo da Vinci) to avoid at all costs creating an unnatural shape. These ideas about the HA fillers are not commonly known even among the best of cosmetic surgeons and constitute part of the intellectual property protected by the trademarked name (Vampire Facelift®).
After creating a younger, natural shape, then the physician harvests from the woman's own blood (hence the name Vampire) growth factors that her body would normally use to heal damaged tissue.
First, the physician draws about 2 teaspoons of blood.
Then, using a centrifuge, the physician isolates platelets from that blood (platelet-rich plasma or PRP)--all within about 10 minutes in the office!
Then she "activates" those platelets to cause the release from the platelets of at least 8 growth factors that would normally be used to heal injured tissue.
These growth factors work like magic to cause increased collagen & new blood flow. To rejuvenate new skin, these growth factors must be put back into your face.
Using numbing cream and a very small needle (for almost no pain), the physician injects the woman's own growth factors back into her face in a particular way. These growth factors then activate multipotent stem cells already in the skin (tricking them into "thinking" there's been an injury and new younger tissue should be generated).
The patented ingredient in Altar™, SBD-4, works synergistically to enhance the effects of the previous steps and to help supply blood flow to fragile new growth of healthy pleuripotent stem cells.
The Vampire Facelift is a minimally-invasive procedure where a small amount of your own blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from your blood. Using a special process, the growth factors from the platelets are released. These growth factors (or regenerative cells) are then injected into the treatment area to stimulate stem cells that produce new tissue, such as collagen, blood vessels, and fatty tissue.
First, the Vampire Facelift does not require surgery, unlike traditional facelifts. Because it uses your own blood, there are usually no side effects.
The Vampire Facelift is a safe procedure for lifting up the skin and smoothing wrinkles. Unlike other alternatives, the primary content used for a Vampire Facelift is the patient’s own blood, so it will generally cause a very little allergic reaction or side effects to the patient.
The whole Vampire Facelift process usually takes less than an hour to complete though in some cases, it may take slightly more time depending on your own circumstances.
Generally you will see some improvement almost immediately after the procedure. However, you will notice gradual improvements over the next several weeks as collagen starts to grow and generate more healthy cells under the skin. Optimum results typically take two to three months.
There is virtually no down time at all aside from some mild bruising or irritation at the treatment site. The procedure only takes about an hour, leaves no visible scarring and you are permitted to go home or back to work immediately after the procedure. You can practically get it done on your lunch break.
Given that the Vampire Facial is fairly new, it is difficult to determine long-term side effects, if any. There have been no major side effects within the last 10 years. Some common side effects of any facial filler or injection are mild irritation, possible allergic reaction especially if addition of foreign agent or chemical, possible infection, bruising, and/or bleeding.
It is generally recommended to get reinforcement treatment every 9-12 months
The cost of a Vampire Facelift may vary depending on the number of injections needed and if you desire additional facial fillers. Please contact our office for a consultation and to determine what your aesthetic needs may be.
